We are spending 12 weeks in Lukodi, Uganda this summer! Our time here will be spent completing internships with an organization called ChildVoice International. ChildVoice operates a safe house/rehabilitation center for adolescent girls and their children that have been formerly abducted by the LRA (rebel group). These girls receive counseling and education, learn life skills and vocational skills and participate in income generating projects. ChildVoice is also involved with the community to provide formal education, health care, water and sanitation, as well as income generating projects. Taylor is doing and art therapy/psychology internship and Clayton is participating in a hybridized internship involving trauma recovery and poverty alleviation.

We are SO thankful for those of you who have supported us in our venture to Uganda. You have made this incredible opportunity a reality, and for that we are eternally grateful! From here we will post updates, stories and photos of our experiences.

All the glory to Him forever,

Clayton and Taylor Boeyink
